After years of customer requirements, PNW Components joined the MTB technology apparel game with jackets, sweatshirts and men's shorts.

PNW Components has only come out in 2015. But in a short period of time, it is known for providing high-quality bicycle components at affordable prices.

The brand's new clothing line has passed Bluesign and OEKO-TEX certification. Even better, it is shipped in compostable, biodegradable packaging and comes with a PNW lifetime warranty.

These designs focus on complete coverage-features such as vertical tails, diagonal sleeves, and generous lengths abound.

PNW’s debut hero product is Lander Jacket, a DWR-treated, four-way stretched, high-coverage shell with unique "flop-proof" technology. This is a novel touch, using small buckle straps, just like the belt on a robe. The idea is to prevent the items in your pocket from rattling on steep descents.

The rear double zipper allows manual ventilation, because let's face it, the waterproof and breathable fabric is nothing more. The adjustable helmet-compatible hood, full-length zipper and hem complete the feature set.

Lander sells for $149—reasonable for a technical enclosure—and comes in two stylish colors.

The grassroots is very important. PNW's unisex Ozone Trail sweatshirt features flat-lock seams, longer-than-average short sleeves, and vertical tails-all designs take into account the thoughtful function of the rider. This $59 jersey comes in blue and gray, and (our favorite part) is a 20%/80% merino polyester blend.

PNW is studying a female-only item that will be launched later. At the same time, the brand believes that "our unisex version of the Shuttle Short in the fall of 21 will make too many compromises for female riders [hence] the shorts are designed with men in mind."

Shuttle Short sports four-way stretch, DWR-treated fabric, long inseam and contoured hem, designed to seamlessly dock with the knee protector. Thigh pockets with zippers are located on both sides, so they won’t get in the way when stepping on them.

The pocket designed by PNW can hold the large mobile phones currently on the market. The shorts are priced at $99 in classic black.

"In order to support our riders, we want to make clothing that feels good, looks good, and will stand the test of time. See you on the road!" Aaron Kerson, co-founder of PNW Components, said in a press release.

Time and experience will prove whether these garments match the quality of other PNW components. You can find out for yourself by visiting pnwcomponents.com.
